How it Works
At Adoption Health Record Review (AHRR), we prioritize the security and privacy of the medical information you share. To ensure privacy, we will share documents on the egnyte platform. Here is how it works:
- Purchase a Plan
- Sign the Potential Adoptive Parent(s) Agreement
- Accept the Invitation via email to create a file on egnyte.com
- Securely upload the documents you would like AHRR to review
- In 5-10 business days, you will receive an email with a secure link to:
- Download the report on the documents AHRR has reviewed.
- Book your virtual session to discuss the report and answer all your questions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will AHRR obtain the prenatal records of the birth mother?
Once you have paid and signed the agreement, you will be able to securely upload the prenatal records you wish to have reviewed.
How soon after submitting the prenatal record should we expect to have a report?
You can expect a report in about 5-10 business days. You will receive an email with a secure link to view or download your report.
How do I choose which visits to have AHRR review?
The AHRR packages recommend the visits to submit for review. These particular visits are recommended as they involve testing or detailed history, making them high-yield for information. For instance, the initial prenatal visit will include the birth mother’s family history, medication history, potential toxins, and much more. The 18 -20 week visit would have included a detailed anatomy ultrasound of the baby. The 24-28 week visit would have included a test for gestational diabetes.
Will AHRR review imaging studies performed on the fetus?
Depending on the package you choose, the report of the standard ultrasounds performed during pregnancy (first trimester and anatomy ultrasounds) will be reviewed. Please note that the study report will be reviewed. Please do not send or upload any images. The images will not be reviewed.

Will AHRR interview or examine the birth mother?
AHRR will review only the prenatal records of the birth mother. No examination, whether in person or virtual, of the birth mother will be conducted.
Can we get additional prenatal records reviewed outside of the package?
Yes, you may choose to have additional prenatal records reviewed outside of your package at an additional cost.
