Fee Structure: Prenatal Medical Record Review

All medical record review comes with a written report along with a virtual 15-30 minute Q&A session.

Package A:
$500

Review record of one visit: suggest 20 weeks, 28weeks or 32 weeks visit.

Package B:
$1000

Review record of three visits: suggest 20 weeks, 28weeks or 32 weeks visit.

Package C:
$2500

Review of all primary Ob visits (usually 10-15 visits). This does not include visits with the high risk obstetrician (MFM) or other specialists. This package includes two 30-minute virtual Q&A sessions.

Birth Medical Record Review:

– Healthy Newborn Nursery Admission Record (one encounter/visit):$500

– Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Admission Record (one encounter/visit): $500

Foster Care Medical Record Review:

– Single Annual Visit Review: $500

– Follow up visits: $300/visit

Surrogacy Medical Record Review:

Single Encounter/Visit: $500

Additional Costs: Review of high-risk Ob (MFM) pregnancy record – $150/visit

Additional Video Meetings: $150/30 minutes

How it Works

At Adoption Health Record Review (AHRR) we prioritize the security and privacy of the medical information you share. To ensure privacy, we will share documents on the Egnyte platform. Here is how it works:

Purchase the plan that’s best for you.
Sign the AHRR Client Agreement
Accept the invitation via email to create a file on Egnyte.com
Securely upload the documents you would like AHRR to review. Please be sure to upload the record for one visit only (if applicable). Additional medical records will NOT be reviewed.
Once the review is complete you will receive an email with a secure link to:
- Download the physician’s medical record review report.
- Book your virtual 30 minutes virtual session to discuss the report and answer your questions.

We recognize that the adoption process is fast paced and requires timely decision making. We strive to complete review and have a virtual visit within 3 days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will AHRR obtain the medical records you want reviewed?

Each AHRR package recommends the visit to submit for review. These visits are recommended as they usually involve detailed history, making them high yield for information.

Will AHRR review any imaging studies?

Depending on the package you choose, the imaging report may be reviewed. We will not review the raw image of any study. Please do not upload a raw image as this will not be reviewed.

Will AHRR interview or examine the birth mother, child or surrogate?

No. AHRR will review the medical records you have submitted No examination, whether in person or virtual will be conducted.

I have used the service before, can I get a discount?

Clients using the service more than once within a 12 month period will receive a 10% discount.
